Alumina Ceramic
Our fine grained, medium duty, hybrid alumina ceramics can be supplied in low, medium, and high volumes and in any shapes and configurations. These materials offer excellent mechanical properties as well as very good corrosion resistance. They are known as the original workhorse in the ceramics family.
- RADD1300 – 99.5% alumina ceramic
- RADD1500 – 99.8% alumina ceramic

Silicon Carbide
Seal face components made from solid silicon carbide are particularly well suited to abrasive and corrosive applications and can handle a wide range of temperature extremes. These components are excellent thermal conductors and can be specified where high strength and stiffness are required.
- RADD600 – Sintered Silicon Carbide
- RADD2000 – Reaction Bonded Silicon Carbide
- RADD1700 – Reaction Bonded – Graphite Charged Silicon Carbide

Tungsten Carbide
Tungsten Carbide is commonly used in mechanical seals due to its extreme toughness and stiffness and has very good abrasion resistance. Two typical binders, cobalt and nickel, are used with varying percentages depending on the application requirements. Nickel Bound Tungsten carbides are more commonly used due to their more corrosion resistance as compared to cobalt bound materials.
- RADD1100 – 6% Nickel Bound Tungsten Carbide
- RADD700 – 6% Cobalt Bound Tungsten Carbide
